Geemarc Telecom have developed a range of telephones for those who have problems hearing.

They have shown an interest in our charity, as it gives them a link to those who will use their phones, they appreciate feed back, which in turn helps them to develop better phones.

I am happy to nurture this link for the benefit of baha users.

 

For the baha user one phone in particular is relevant, the CL200 phone with which the Direct Vibe hand set can be used.

 

The ear piece has within it a transducer with a contact point in the centre of the ear piece. You can hold this to any part of your front face bones (ie cheek bone) to hear the other person via bone conduction. Note: ( This handset can also be used and heard in the normal manner, with the ear piece held to the ear.)
