The Baha Intenso™ is the most powerful headworn Baha sound processor. The Intenso is a digital device. It has a factory set Automatic Gain Control output compression (AGCo) to limit distortion. The circuit has a dual time-constant system, allowing for improved sound quality in loud environments. The Intenso has programming options allowing the wearer to adapt to noisy or quiet surroundings, as well as a mute setting. In addition, sound signals alert users to when it is time to change battery. (Unlike the Divino it does not have a directional microphone – it has been found to not be beneficial to those who need the power which the Intenso can offer.
